Holly is a long time resident that has never had a chance at home life. She came to the shelter leery of people and quickly accepted her kennel mates as her pack. She is bonded with the other dogs at the shelter and trusts the kennel workers. She is still very unsure of strangers. We can only imagine what her past life was like. Her only chance at a home would be a patient person willing to help her overcome her fears and help her learn to trust. The good news is she is food motivated (what Beagle isn't!). We do not anticipate this to be an easy transformation, and it would take a lot of dedication and work. She is eligible for our A.D.O.P.T. program (adult dogs offered professional training) where she could live with a dog trainer for up to two weeks to give a potential adopter the tools to help her acclimation to home life. Adopt Holly, senior beagle mix, gorgeous coat, LONG TIME shelter resident
