This mature boy sounds as though he’d make an excellent family companion.
We’ve recently become foster parents to “Mr. Cool,” a wonderful Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Mr. Cool is so mellow that the cats at the Ohio Valley Humane Society shelter would sleep on top of him when he stayed in their front office.He was scheduled to be euthanized, so we agreed to foster him until a permanent retirement home is found.Mr. Cool is a gentle soul – he is wonderful with other dogs (including my tiny Italian Greyhounds), cats, people and he especially adores children.
Mr. Cool is a senior (about 9 years old), neutered male Chesapeake Bay Retriever with a chocolate brown medium smooth coat. He’s a happy, friendly soul with sad eyes in a very noble face, large jowls and soft, floppy ears. He is quiet, housebroken and loves to go for walks.
