UPDATE: 7/2. Poor Monty is still patiently waiting for a family to rescue him from doggie jail...don't over look this guy because he's older, he's adorable, and oh so sweet!! Monty is sponsored, which reduces the cost of adoption. Heck, we'll even make sure he has a bath before you take him home! Monty is an owner surrender, available for immediate adoption. He is 10 years old and housebroken. The owner writes, "He is a loving dog I've had for a long time; he's afraid of loud noises and easily intimidated." Poor Monty. He is overweight at 43 lbs. This gentleman is breaking our hearts! Monty is such a doll, and he is so unhappy at the pound. He doesn't understand why his family has left him here, alone with strangers, and in a cage. Not to mention putting him at risk of being PTS. It wasn't your fault Monty...you are a good dog! Look beyond his years, and look at the dog
