Adopt Mooks! gorgeous 8 year old black labrador retriever

Mooks is a senior male black lab who is waiting for his forever home at the Bergen County Animal Shelter in Teterboro, NJ. Precious as can be, this irresistible gentleman came to us because his owner couldn't care for him any longer. At the tender age of 8, this big guy still has a lot of vigor and life left in him. Physical and mental stimulation will be in order. Walks are a great way to release some pent up energy, and can also aid in the bonding process. Because he is such a huge mush, we have no doubt he will feel like home in no time. With a caring and loving family by his side, Mooks will be a wonderful companion. Any family will be lucky to call him their own, and we are sure this sweetheart will make you quite the happy clam. Mooks is currently on a course of antibiotics for Lyme disease.

If you can give this handsome guy the second chance he deserves, please stop by the Bergen County Animal Shelter to meet him. The shelter is located at 100 United Lane, Teterboro, NJ, near Routes 17 & 46 in the meadowlands area of northern NJ and they are open 7 afternoons per week for adoptions, until 8 PM on Thursdays. Rescues, please visit the shelter's website at http://www.co.bergen.nj.us/bcas/rescue.html to read their rescue policies before contacting the shelter. Mook's shelter ID is 85807.
