I rec’d a call today
from Allison, one of the vet techs at Brandywine Veterinary Hospital in Chadds
Ford. They have a 14 yo male Poodle whose owner went in to the hospital and,
sadly, will not be returning home … Equally as sad is the fact that the family
doesn’t want Duke, so he’s stuck in boarding with nowhere to go.
Can anyone please take
this boy into their home? Duke weighs about 15 lbs. He’s is neutered and just
had blood work done, the results of which were “remarkable” for his age. His
eyesight is a little poor, but he’s not blind. He has a minor ear infection for
which he is being treated, but is otherwise healthy and spunky, with a “fun
attitude.” Sounds like a darling dog with lots of love to give. It is not
known how Duke is with other dogs, cats, or kids – at least not yet.
