A handsome senior Wire Fox Terrier, Chester was rescued by a Bideawee staff
member when she found him abandoned in a park in Manhattan. This 10 year old
weighs 18 pounds and he is mostly housebroken but he may have accidents in his
new home. Chester will need an experienced family without children or the
elderly, as he has demonstrated severe resource guarding behavior with food.
Chester gets along with some other dogs and seems to be disinterested in cats.
Once he has a calm home environment and a stable routine, we are certain he will
bond to his new family and be a loving companion!"
