Two senior Shelties in need of home or rescue!!! Malverne NY

This is a senior boy named Niki and he is a sheltie - 14 years old. His owners have had hardship after hardship and can no longer care for Niki. He cannot got to a home with babies.

It is quite evident that little Petunia has been neglected and treated poorly her entire life. She was most likely used as a breeder dog that could no longer produce and was thrown away. We cannot turn our backs on her also. All you have to do is touch her and her little tail wags with delight. She holds no bad feelings for the life she has been forced to live. As a rescue, we have decided that if we cannot try to make every dog that comes into our care healthy and whole again, no matter their age, we would have failed at our jobs and what would be the purpose for our existence?
