Hi Everyone, Att'd are 3 before and 3 after pix of Onyx a senior Lab from NJ. He is 12-13 years old, and went into a foster home in Nov. 2013 when his family lost their home to foreclosure. He had a bad skin infection, a few other problems, and was very depressed. His foster mom fixed his skin, and got a few pounds off his achy hips, and he has changed into a happy, silly, loving Lab. He tries to run fast in the yard and trots like a pony on the way back to the house, all proud.He still needs a retirement home. He gets along great with other dogs and ok w/cats, he loves to feel like he is part of the gang, follows you everywhere even if its just a few feet. He was a big boy in his prime, and still is, but needs to keep weight down to ease his hips and back end. I don;t know how long he has but there is still some life in him. He is a real lover boy.
