CocoJoe is an 11-year-old springer spaniel (photo attached) whose owner is
going to England for a 1-year fellowship. His current owner had arranged for a
family member to take care of him during this time but the plan took a veer when
severely hearing-impaired Coco was roused from his sleep suddenly while sleeping
on a sofa and bit the person waking him up. Coco's owner was taken aback
because Coco is not a biter but an easy-going friendly senior dog. It should be
noted too that Coco is not afflicted with springer rage. He gets along well
with other dogs and cats. His owner is willing to financially compensate that
person willing to care for his beloved pet (had him since puppyhood) for a year
or take Coco permanently into their home.
