URGENT! Rescue or home needed for REX, not much time left

Meet Rex! he is at a virginia pound and does not have much time left.  Rex is a big boy- who was running loose with his girlfriend. When he came in he was unsure of things, but he has really come around and enjoys being pet, and wags his tail now!! Please help him- he needs some TLC and needs out of this pound or he will be put down. look at this cute face!
