16 YEAR OLD BEAGLE TOBY NEEDS HOME NOW! MINNEAPOLIS, KANSAS
Toby, is a sweet, Kansas Beagle boy! He needs a place to live out the rest of his days.
He was returned from an adopting family because his breathing was bad and weezed
badly and he had accidents on the floor. Now that could be due to old age but it could also be
because this is a retired breeder dog and has not been trained. He is doggy door trained.
There must be SOMEONE who wants an old dog that only has a year or two left to his old life. Please
if you have a farm could you consider letting Toby live with you. My vet was asked
to put him down by the breeder but he just can't do it. At first the vet thought Toby
was breathing like this because his teeth were so bad and infection had spread
throughout his body. But they ran some more studies on him and found that his
esophagus had collapsed. The vet feels that this dog was kicked in the throat to cause
this problem. He really does not have any other breathing problems. If you know someone that would
be interested in letting this beautiful guy live his
life out in senior luxury please email Debbie at savethatdog@hotmail.com All contact information is
listed in my signature.

URGENT!!!!Adopt Ripley, an 8 year old female coonhound, great with cats! Bayonne NJ
Ripley is an 8 year old spayed female coonhound who weighs approximately 70 pounds located in Bayonne, NJ. This is an owner dog who needs a new home.
Ripley is healthy and up to date on shots. She is used to being around cats but has not lived with another dog. She loves her walks and needs exercise and a house with a yard is recommended for Ripley. She is a very loving, trained and well behaved dog but due to the young age of our child, Ripley is not used to the high energy and is not responding well. She needs to be introduced slowly to strangers and we recommend that a home with older kids would be fine but
not young children. If you have large dog experience and think that you are the right home for Ripley please email joansdogs@aol.com for an adoption application.
Adopt Britney, 12 year old female labrador mix NY NY
Big fan of: Every person she meets, spending time lolling on the couch and sleeping in, being brushed and getting lots of strokes and cuddles.
Not a fan of: Seeing other dogs, pigeons or other small animals on walks—Britney barks at them.
Special features: As a couch-potato senior, Britney is an ideal companion for someone in search of a snuggle buddy—she’s ready to spend every evening by your side while you catch up on TV or crack open a good book. She has a very sweet disposition and a distinguished gray muzzle.
Other reasons she’s special: ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement Agents seized Britney from her owner last year. She suffers from arthritic changes in her back and elbows and ligament tears in both knees, but due to her age surgery is not an option. Britney takes arthritis medicine daily, and her adopter must continue this medication. She is eating hypoallergenic food at the moment, but this may be tapered off in the future.
Dream home: A six-and-up household without other animals where Britney can finally get the love and comfort she deserves.
If you’re interested: Please call our Animal Placement department in New York City at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4900.

Adopt Buddy, in rescue for 2 years with no offers of a home!
Please contact PAWS - Kslagle11@email.com
Buddy is a 5-year-old, 60 lb. shepherd mix (who was previously "chained" outside 24/7 with an extension cord). When he came to us, he had a bullet lodged in his face. Buddy is neutered, UTD on shots, housebroken and microchipped. He knows several commands (sit, stay, down, give paw), rides well in the car, and likes being bathed and brushed. Despite his not so great early years, Buddy is sweet, outgoing and playful. He loves to play with other dogs (behaves well at doggie day care). He likes to nap in small spaces and is fascinated by chipmunks. He is particular about the cats he likes. He is a wonderful watch dog. He will bark until you greet your guest and then he is happy to see them too! Buddy is waiting for that special someone to give him a chance. Please contact PAWS - Kslagle11@email.com or call 570-350-8798.

URGENT! Two senior dogs need home or rescue now - Vidalia GA
CONTACT HOLLY AT 912-539-9840 or email: holly4soaps@yahoo.com
SOAPS (Sweet Onion Animal Protection Society)
P.O. Box 210
Vidalia, GA 30475
THESE DOGS ARE CURRENTLY AT VIDALIA ANIMAL CONTROL IN VIDALIA, GA.
Here are photos of 2 senior dogs at VAC. These boys really made me sad
when I visited the shelter Saturday. Does anybody have any senior contacts?
The information below is from April at the shelter:
The first picture is of Clyde a chow/newfinland mix approx 10+ years
old, not neutered and ok with other dogs. He has some hair loss but we
believe it's due to malnutrition. His owners moved off and left him chained
in the back yard for 2 months before someone found him and called us to pick
him up. The second set of pictures are of B.J. He is a male neutered lab approx 7-8
years old. He is very laid back, super sweet, and great with other dogs.
He was an owner surrender due to the owner not wanting to pay the pickup and boarding fees.
B.J. has been here at our shelter for almost 2 years. 2 YEARS??
B.J. really needs a home!

Adopt Brandy, female Senior Golden Lab Mix
Hi, my name is Brandy. I lived with my family all my life in Stroudsburg, PA . I was a much-loved family member until our 4 yr old human was giving me a cookie and when I tried to take it then he pulled it away. Just when I thought I had it, I accidentally caught his hand and now they say I nipped him. Being an old gal my eyesight is not what it used to be and didn't mean anything- just wanted that yummy cookie. My owner even said it was an accident but they gave me up now I live in a kennel. I’m sad here and miss my humans. A kennel is no place for a old girl like me. Brandy is a very sweet happy 11 yrs old, Golden/Lab mix, Approx. 70 lbs., Ok on leash, House trained and trustworthy when left home alone. Good with most dogs and cats. Has lived with a pit mix, 2 cats and children. She doesn’t care to be crated as she was crated a lot as a pup, Likes to play and sleep in bed. Health: Spayed, UTD on shots, complete vet check in April. In good health, no issues. Home/Foster: Due to her age a home with older children would be best with no other dogs or calm, submissive dogs. She just wants a family again and to be loved. Please give this senior a chance. Contact baburch@ptd.net or kimberlyjkizer@gmail.com for more information.
