Meet Miracle- a senior pittie (8-12ish,) who is completely
blind, hearing impaired, and extremely underweight. We performed an x-ray on
her belly and found it was filled with bones; she could barely walk and has
severe pressure sores on her hip bones that have been cleaned and sutured. Once
she arrived at the shelter and was medically triaged, it was like she knew she
was safe- she finally laid down and went to sleep- and boy did she sleep. After
very close medical observation Miracle is beginning to gain some strength and
is passing the bones naturally. She is on the mend and has a fight in her that
is remarkable.
Please help us find Miracle a foster/adoptive home that will
continue to care for her as she fights to regain her health. Miracle deserves
to know what love from a 2 legged companion feels like- she has endured such
torture most of her life. During the last few years she has left she should
know what kindness, peace and love feel like.
