POOR CALISTA THEY ARE MOVING, KEEPING THEIR DOG NOT THEIR LOYAL CAT THAT IS 14 YRS OLD - READ BELOW, UNBELIEVABLE. SO SO SAD - THAT POOR CAT - SHE IS DECLAWED AND IN GOOD HEALTH. PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD ASAP - SHE NEEDS A HOME BADLY. Calista is 14 years old and in very good health. She is front declawed and currently lives with a dog and has previously lived with cats. She will be updating her vaccines today. Her owners are moving to a new location that allows dogs but not cats. They were comfortable with the fact that she could be put to sleep because, "She led a good long life." There are issues with her tear ducts but they didn't do anything about this at onset so there's probably little to do for her now. She does have sight and an eternal squint. Not looking for a rescue to take her, please just help spread the word for a home. Somewhere that she can live out her golden years with someone who will give her a bit more concern. My house is pretty full but she'll stay here until another less inhabited home can be found. Just got about a stray lab found by an elderly couple....the girl is blind. Please share with your contacts so that this girl can get help and not wind up in the shelter as this elderly couple can not keep her. This is little Brandy. Brandy is an owner-surrender due to divorce. She is 10 years old, had a recent dental, up-to-date on her shots, spay and is fitting right into our pack. She is also microchipped. Brandy has been pampered and loved. However, she has to eat from the bowl at our houseJ she was also hand-fed. She loves massages and listens. Adopt Socks, 10 year old boxer mix, owners moved did not take her

Socks is at least 10 years old and a boxer mix. She is very sweet and in need of a home. The owners had to move and were not permitted to take dogs and were going to put her down. I've had her shots updated and am willing to give food weekly and volunteer walking her if neccessary. This is a senior boy named Niki and he is a sheltie - 14 years old. His owners have had hardship after hardship and can no longer care for Niki. He cannot got to a home with babies.

It is quite evident that little Petunia has been neglected and treated poorly her entire life. She was most likely used as a breeder dog that could no longer produce and was thrown away. We cannot turn our backs on her also. All you have to do is touch her and her little tail wags with delight. She holds no bad feelings for the life she has been forced to live. As a rescue, we have decided that if we cannot try to make every dog that comes into our care healthy and whole again, no matter their age, we would have failed at our jobs and what would be the purpose for our existence? Adopt Nana, 7 year old terrier mix in shelter since December - NJ

This sweet, adorable girl is Nana. Nana is a white and orange pit bull-mix who is estimated to be about 7 years old. She was surrendered from people who could no longer care for her, but that means she is used to living in a home--she's housebroken, and she walks great on a leash! She also knows her basic commands--sit, paw, stay and come. Nana honestly has to be one of the sweetest dogs we have ever met. She isn't too interested in toys--she would rather curl up next to you or roll over for a belly rub! She LOVES people and attention. When you walk by her kennel she begs for attention!
