Say Hi to Hunter! Hunter is a 9 year old neutered Dutch Shepherd Mix. Hunter’s favorite thing in the world is to chase a tennis ball and walk with you outside. He walks very well on his leash, is house broken and crate trained. Hunter is friendly, playful and loving, but he is bored in his kennel and tries to get out if he can so he can be around everyone. He is a totally different dog out of his kennel! He is an owner surrender who desperately wants a forever home. He may be 9 but he has the energy of a pup. He loves to be outdoors and to have a task or job. Dutch Shepherds are extremely bright but need to be occupied. Hunter would do best with adults and older children who can give him the activity he needs. He would be a great dog for someone who would like a daily companion at the office or someone who works at home. Hunter is a true favorite of all the CHS volunteers who love to play with him in the outside fenced area. If you take him out and give him the opportunity he will win you over as well. Contact: Ct. Adopt Hyde, 12 year old blind yellow labrador retriever

Meet Hyde. Hyde is a 60 pound male 12 year old yellow labrador retriever who needs a new home. He has become anxious with cats around and an aggressive pug in the home but he gets along with his friend who is a black labrador retriever. Adopt Mini, 8 year old female havanese/poodle mix

This is Mini, an adorable 8 pound Havanese/Poodle Diva. She is a very young, spry 10 year old - a precious girl who loves to cuddle. Mini also loves to travel by car, foot and even stroller! Mini is fully housetrained and only barks at a knock on the door. The perfect home for this poodle mix will have someone at home most of the time or be able to take her along. Her one demand is that she be an only pet. Mini takes preventive medication for elevated liver enzymes, and does so happily as long as it's in American cheese! Adopt Rascal, 11 yr old purebred shih tzu - adorable!!

Rascal is a 11 yr. old purebred Shih Tzu who weighs 19 lbs. Rascal came to rescue after his owners could no longer keep him. With age comes wisdom, impeccable manners, and nice housetraining skills. He is a resilient fellow, quickly adjusting to his foster home. He loves to play with his squeaky toys and then to take a snooze on the sofa. He walks perfectly on leash and regularly approaches strangers on the street to say "hello". Rascal without young children.
